The Role

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us break into more mid-to-large recruitment agencies with enterprise client accounts. You’ll be focused on identifying firms who need more structure, better workflows, and a platform that helps them scale delivery across multiple roles and hiring managers. You’ll be the first touchpoint, working closely with the CEO and Head of Sales to shape pipeline strategy and refine our messaging.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect & Engage

  • Identify staffing agencies working on large-scale hiring needs or managing enterprise accounts
  • Create and run outbound campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and phone
  • Build relevant, value-led messaging that speaks to the challenges of managing high-value clients
  • Experiment with new prospecting techniques and share what works

Qualify & Book Meetings

  • Run discovery to understand agency structure, client base, and delivery challenges
  • Qualify prospects based on need, volume, and tech readiness
  • Book product walkthroughs with the CEO or Account Executive
  • Keep CRM clean and keep momentum high in the pipeline

Collaborate & Refine

  • Feed intel back to marketing and product teams to improve targeting and positioning
  • Help develop personas, objection handling, and playbooks for high-value accounts
  • Suggest and test outbound sequences based on what resonates in market
  • Constantly improve your approach by tracking performance and learning fast

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years experience in B2B SaaS or recruitment tech sales (bonus: experience selling to or working in recruitment agencies)
  • Clear communicator, confident in messaging to senior recruitment leaders
  • Strong understanding of enterprise account dynamics — multiple stakeholders, long cycles, high expectations
  • You don’t wait for perfect, you build, test, and adjust
  • Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Nav, etc.
  • Bonus: understanding of the recruitment tech landscape (CRMs, job boards, interview tools, etc.)
